Eaglesong is a PoW mining algorithm used by Nervos CKB cryptocurrency. The project is relatively new – it was launched in the second half of 2019. According to the developers, Eaglesong combines innovation, simplicity, and security. This is what makes the algorithm stand out, but it is still quite similar to existing projects. Eaglesong is compatible with both Nvidia and AMD.
Nervos CKB mining block reward changes dynamically from 1872 to 1112 CKB during each CKB mining epoch. The calculator is taking this fact into account and calculates the mining rewards using the average block reward value.
In the spring of 2020 ASIC miners have appeared on Nervos mining network. Network difficulty has increased significantly. Therefore GPU mining is not so profitable anymore.
