CuckooCortex is a PoW mining algorithm used by Cortex cryptocurrency. It is compatible with AMD (use lolMiner) and Nvidia (use gminer) graphics cards. The minimum GPU memory required for Cortex mining is 10 GB for Windows 10 and 8 GB for Windows 7 or Linux. Cortex mining doesn't heat the GPU's as much as other mining algorithm do. CuckooCortex algorithm is not presented on NiceHash hashpower rental service. There are no ASIC’s operating on this algorithm.
