Cuckatoo32 is Grin’s new mining algorithm that is also compatible with “red” graphics cards (that is, AMD). C32 will be the new iteration of the mining algorithm and all Cuckatoo31 miners will gradually switch to it. In order to encourage the switch, mining difficulty on C31 will keep going up in the course of 31 weeks starting from the hard fork on block 524160 in mid-January 2020.
Cuckatoo32 hashrate has nearly reached Cuckarooz29 (the main Grin algorithm) hashrate. So far there are no known ASIC devices on Grin. This coin is mined using the graphics cards. If your hardware could mine multiple Grin algorithms we highly recommend you check the profitability of each algorithm separately as it is usually different.
Default mining profit is calculated for 300 Nvidia 3070 GPUs with total hashrate: 186 Gps on Cuckatoo32
